Allyson Felix

Allyson Melissa Felix was born in Los Angeles, California on the 18th of November, 1985. She was the daughter of Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley, and their mother Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix's talent for athletics was evident from the moment she started attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. After her first audition and placing in the top two in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships, for 200-meter sprint in only 10 weeks. Felix completed her high school education and was signed to an agreement with Adidas. In the year 2004, she enrolled in an institution called the University of Southern California, where her major was elementary education. A year later Felix was awarded her very first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece setting the world junior record sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. In 2005, at the Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the world's youngest champion in running 200m. She won the title in 2007. defended her title by beating Jamaican adversary Veronica Campbell. Felix participated in the Olympics in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo regularly placing in the top three places in all her competitions.
