Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer, born August 4, 1981 is an American actor. Most well-known is her role in the film Cowboys & Aliens The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful It Is Where I Leave You as well as in the show on TV called Angel's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne & Suits. She currently stars as Amantha Holden on the Sundance Channel Drama series Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer works as an actress on film and television. She was known for her roles in the drama series Rectify, as well as in the science-fiction series Timeless. Gulf Breeze Florida native made her acting d but in All My Children. The soap show All My Children earned the actress an award by soap Opera Digest as the Best Female newcomer. Over the next few years she mainly played roles as guest stars on a variety of TV shows. The show she appeared on received praise for her part she took on in the role of the Dr. Erin Jameson of Hawthorne. Her dazzling looks, combined with her amazing acting skills helped to slowly grow the number of fans. In the film Campfire Stones, she played in the role at the age of 20. Jekyll This Means War as well as Chasing Mavericks are two other films in which she appeared. In recognition of her performance on Beautiful Now she received a Madrid International Film Festival Award nomination. She played Lucy Preston the history professor in Timeless. Spencer has received positive reviews from critics about her performance in the sci-fi television program Timeless. Spencer received nominations for a Teen Choice Award.
